Ana María Martínez 
    Ana María Martínez graduated from the University of Buenos Aires and member of the Public Bar Association of the Federal Capital since 1978.
    Dr. Martinez specialized in International Legal Relations at American University, Washington DC, United States of America (1980). At the legislative and academic level, she served as advisor to the National H. Chamber of Deputies and participated in the drafting of the Law for the Creation of the Magistracy Council and of the bills to reform the Law on Competitions and Bankruptcy.

    She also advised the Joint Parliamentary Commission of MERCOSUR, comprising the drafting committees of the Regulations of this Commission (1991), the Protocol of Ouro Preto (1994) and numerous Recommendations prepared by this body of the regional group. She was also a cabinet advisor to the National  Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security. She is Academic Secretary and integrates the Academic Councils of University and Research Higher Education Foundations.

    She was a consultant and project coordinator for the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB).
    She was advisor to the Presidency of the Judicial Council of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires and was a member of the Commission for the Transfer of Nation-CABA Competencies. She is currently  head of  Office of Follow-up of Management of Public Prosecutor's Offices of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.

    At the academic level, Dr. Martinez was a professor at the Faculty of Law of the University of Buenos Aires, and is a speaker, nationally and internationally, in various conferences and seminars on Institutional and Regulatory Aspects of MERCOSUR, as well as a regular contributor in several specialized publications.
    Her professional activity is mainly focused on consulting tasks in the areas of corporate, insolvency and tax law; and the application of MERCOSUR standards.
